JULES BONNEL

Introducing our director Jules Bonnel. Starting with documentary writing, Jules developed a passion for capturing movement through his collaborations with dancers and choreographers worldwide. Regularly working brands like Chanel and with prestigious institutions like the l’Opéra de Paris. He brings a documentary approach to all his work and he recently received the 2025 SCAM Award for his documentary « L’Opéra en Guyane, tous danseurs ». His poetic, dreamlike films combine intimate portraits, minimalist music videos, and short films. He masterfully uses stop motion techniques to tell stories with humor and poetry, as seen in "L'allumeuse" and "KARL", the tale of the sock.
